About Us

Cadplan was formed in 2002 and since that time we have designed countless house extensions as well as the odd commercial residential development, several bespoke new houses, and flat many conversions.

We are slightly unusual in that design director Andrew Hirst has a background in creative 3D design so looks at not only the architectural and practical aspects of house extensions, but also see things from a designer’s perspective both in terms of the exterior appearance of buildings, through to the interior design and interior layout.
We now specialize in domestic extensions and new houses and strive to offer a personal service where you will be dealing with one person from start to finish.

Of course we understand the design and planning process, we realize that many clients may know very little so we make sure that we help you to understand, we also take care of all the administration side of obtaining planning permission and building regulations approval on your behalf to make life easier.
